Accounting Summer Internship

The Accounting Intern, a member of the Finance Department at ACM, will prepare and support monthly and annual financial close and reporting activities. The Accounting Intern will develop subject matter expertise in specific areas to which he / she is assigned and will be responsible for providing analysis and support for assigned financial areas.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare monthly general and standard journal entries.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist independent auditors with interim and year-end audit.
• Maintain established department policies, procedures, objectives, and quality assurance.
• Enhance professional growth and development through educational programs, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc. to keep abreast of the field.
• Maintain required records, reports, and files.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Required Qualifications :

Physical Requirements :

Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Pay Range : $19.00 - $19.00
