About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg

Location : Flowood, MS

Job Type : Contract – 8 weeks (Travelers only)

Shift : Days | 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM | Alternating weekends | 3 / 2 split (4 shifts one week, 3 the next)

Pay Rate : $55+ / hour with travel stipend available

Start Date : Must be able to start within 3 weeks

Job Description & Requirements :

Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Med Surg unit.

Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of care.

Must be adaptable to fast-paced environments and flexible with alternating weekend shifts.

Position Requirements :

Active RN license in the state of Mississippi (or compact)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross

Minimum of one year paid RN experience in a Med Surg setting within the past year

Cerner EMR experience required
