Electrical Engineer - Senior Level

Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects and is recognized as one of the worldwide leaders in this field. We are actively looking for a Senior Level Electrical Engineer to join our Seattle or Federal Way office. The responsibilities of this position include : working with new technologies and developing industries from microgrids to projects supporting offshore wind ports; preparing multiple or complex plans, designs and plan production for general electrical engineering on a wide variety of projects which may include lighting, power, and grounding plans, one-line diagrams, panel and cable schedules, and different project specifications.

Duties and responsibilities :

• Completes multiple or complex electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with Project Managers (any discipline) and electrical teammates
• Provides multiple or complex design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for the following but not limited to :

Physical requirements :

Majority of work is office based. Some site visits to meet with clients, sub consultants, utilities, and other parties to investigate site conditions and meet project requirements. Site visits may also include working around live electrical equipment and systems.
