School Nurse

Clarifi Staffing Solutions iscurrently seeking compassionate and qualified School Nurses to joinour team for both Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year(NSY) programs in Illinois.

As a School Nurse you will play a vitalrole in promoting the health and wellbeing of students providingessential nursing care and supporting the educational environment.

This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positiveimpact on the lives of students while collaborating with adedicated team of educators and healthcareprofessionals.

Responsibilities :

• Assessstudent health needs and provide nursing care for students withacute and chronic healthconditions.
• Administer medicationstreatments and procedures as prescribed by healthcareproviders.
• Monitor students withspecial health needs including those with allergies diabetes asthmaand other medicalconditions.
• Develop and implementindividualized health care plans (IHCPs) and emergency action plans(EAPs) for students with complex healthneeds.
• Educate students families andschool staff on healthrelated topics including medicationmanagement first aid and emergencyresponse.
• Collaborate with schooladministrators teachers and other healthcare professionals topromote a safe and healthy schoolenvironment.
• Maintain accurate andconfidential health records including immunization records medicalhistories and incidentreports.
• Participate inmultidisciplinary meetings including Individualized EducationProgram (IEP) meetings to support student success andwellbeing.

Requirements

• Bachelorsdegree in Nursing from an accreditedprogram.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN)license in the state ofIllinois.
• Certification in SchoolNursing or willingness to obtain certification within a specifiedtimeframe.
• Experience working withpediatric populations in a healthcare or school setting ispreferred.
• Strong assessmentcommunication and interpersonalskills.
• Ability to workindependently and as part of a multidisciplinaryteam.
• Commitment to promoting healthand wellness in the schoolcommunity.
