We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on US multi-state payroll operations with a strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and employee service. If you have hands-on experience with Workday Payroll and a passion for delivering seamless payroll processes, we'd love to hear from you.

Essential Functions

• Manage day-to-day payroll processing tasks, including retroactive transactions, one-time payments, EIB mass file uploads, payroll on / off-boarding, and payroll inputs.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity of payroll data across the organization.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.
• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc payroll reports as needed.
• Follow payroll SOPs and contribute to creating and updating procedures.
• Support testing and implementation of new payroll technologies and processes.
• Monitor Workday Payroll functionality and recommend improvements.
• Provide timely, professional responses to employee payroll inquiries.
• Identify payroll issues, escalate as needed, and act as back-up for the Head of US Payroll.
