Job Description Responsibilities :
Advise on content / features based on market research and evaluations, develop logical system paths, and assist in creating unique visual and tactile solutions for system interaction with user interface designers.
Generate and implement evaluation processes to validate system content, interactions, and visuals.
Advise on human factors to be considered during the initial design or redesign phases of company products.
Apply human performance principles, methodologies, and technologies to interface designs of products.
Develop and implement research methodologies and statistical analysis plans to test and evaluate current products and prototypes, including test planning, process, analysis, and report generation. Content should include visual, tactile, voice, content, and other interfaces with the user.
Conduct contextual user interviews to gather in-depth analysis of user needs versus stated wants, aiming to better understand users, features, and interaction / mental models the system should reflect.
Research market conditions and assist in feasibility studies to determine demand for existing and new products or services.
Collaborate with team members or work independently to create interface solutions and specifications for specific programs.
Ensure design solutions align with Vehicle’s brand identity or project-specific strategies, and stay updated on technology and UI / UX trends.
Assist in creating design briefs, presentations, sketches, diagrams, maps, computer renderings, storyboards, videos, or other communication tools.
Gather data through web searches, reports, surveys, and field research to inform design strategies.
Utilize a broad range of design software to visualize and realize solutions, staying current with the latest techniques.
Qualifications Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Ergonomics, Design, or Cognitive Psychology, with 2-4 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge in Automotive, Electronics / Mechanical, and / or programming is preferred.
Understanding of human factors principles, techniques, and technologies.
Ability to interpret technical documents, write reports and correspondence, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Skills to present ideas and concepts persuasively to management and stakeholders.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Interest and knowledge in radio, navigation, and consumer electronics technology; ability to work in multidisciplinary and multinational teams.
Mathematical skills including calculating figures, converting measurements, and applying basic algebra and geometry principles.
