As we expand our product categories and sales channels, were looking for a talented Technical Designer / Pattern Maker to join our team on a temporary-to-hire basis. Youll play a key role in supporting our Production Team with sketching, measurements, and construction specifications for swim and activewear styles. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Location : Huntington Beach, CA 92649

Role Type : Temporary to Hire Position .3-month initial contract (possible 1 month extension). Approx. 32 hours / week.

Hybrid Work Environment : This is a hybrid role. Must be available to work in our Huntington Beach, CA office for weekly fittings and meetings.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Support the sketching, measurement, and construction specifications for swim and activewear.
• Apply deep knowledge of patternmaking principles and garment construction fundamentals to ensure precision and quality.
• Assist in product development and garment fit plus-size experience preferred, with a strong understanding of fit and aesthetics across size ranges.
• Build and maintain BOMs (Bills of Materials) and technical packages.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and factories, both locally and internationally.
• Take ownership of your work while managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a positive work climate and an environment based on trust, diversity, and inclusion within the team.
• Foster and communicate the values that support the mission and objectives of JOLYN.
• Perform ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Pay Range : The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $35-$43 / hr. Actual compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors such as a candidates qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies.
