• Schedule : Full-Time, orientation on the day shift, start times are 0630 / 0700 - 1500 / 1530 daily. Permanent shift will depend on the needs of the department after training period is successfully completed.\n

Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance, location and salary range at the time of the offer.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDeliver professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.\n
• Perform scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.\n
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during, and after procedure.\n
• Directly assist operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.\n
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.\n\nRequirements\n\nLicensure / Certification / Registration : \n
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\n
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.\n\nEducation : \n
