Advertised Job Summary

To serve as a CarolinaCAP Coach in the field with the goal of improving and enhancing the effectiveness of the coaching model for all partner districts and all CarolinaCAP candidates.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in classroom teaching and / or instructional coaching. Must be willing to travel 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

SCTS 4.0 training; coaching skills and behaviors (Cognitive Coaching Seminar); knowledge of Micro-credentials & personalized learning;

co-teaching models and approaches; and experience mentoring beginning teachers.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Customer and service-oriented, confidential, team player, ability to troubleshoot, good communicator & listener, skilled presenter for adult learners, quick and constant learner, analytical and process-oriented, strong documenting habits, ability to triage and prioritize, and basic computer skills (to include MS Office Suite, Google Drive, Spreadsheets (Excel & Google), Email (mail merge, filters, folders, rules), Presentations / Slideshows, Database management, and Basecamp or willingness to learn.
