Inpatient Coder - State Licensed

A company is looking for a Remote Coder III - Inpatient.

Key Responsibilities

Performs remote coding for hospitals via scanned medical records and abstracts

Codes inpatient records and submits queries to providers for documentation clarification

Maintains productivity levels and a 95% coding accuracy rate

Required Qualifications

High School Education or GED

ICD-10-CM & PCS certification

2 years' acute care hospital inpatient coding experience preferred

CIC, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT certification required

Experience with electronic medical record systems and encoding systems
