Position Title : Administrative Programs Assistant
Location : Philadelphia Suburbs, PA
Assignment Type : Part-Time Contract, 3 year long assignment
Compensation : $21 - 23 / hour
Work Schedule : Flexible weekday schedule, 25–30 hours / week
On-Site or Hybrid : Fully On-Site

An Addison Group client is looking for an Administrative Programs Assistant!
Job Responsibilities :
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Office of the Provost and Dean of the Faculty.
- Coordinate academic programming and faculty events, including orientations, lecture series, and research development sessions.
- Manage scheduling for faculty committees and academic assessments.
- Arrange logistics for visiting faculty, including travel, lodging, and catering for special events such as annual honors programs.
- Support special projects including curriculum and program reviews, faculty research funding, and interdisciplinary initiatives.
- Collaborate with the registrar and other campus departments to ensure smooth execution of academic operations.
- Perform general office administration duties and assist with evolving departmental needs.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree required.1–3 years of administrative experience in higher education or a nonprofit setting.Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and ability to learn new software quickly.Experience with event planning or scheduling systems (e.g., 25Live or similar).Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.Ability to work with faculty, administrators, and senior leadership with professionalism and discretion.High attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities.Why choose Addison Group?
