Job Description :
The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible forfabricating parts for production by means of blueprints drawingsspecification sheets and verbal instructions.
Key Responsibilities :
Fabricates parts for production using blueprintsdrawings specification sheets and verbal instructions
Operate tools and machinery :
Drill Press Turret Punch Punch Press Air Tools Band Sawvarious Hand Tools Belt Sander Break Press Shears
Follows all company policiesincluding but not limited to safety attendance breaks etc
All other duties asassigned
Must beable to work overtime when warranted
MinimumQualifications :
High School diploma orequivalent. Four years experience working in a similar position.

Ability to list 50 lbs.
Able to read and use measuring devicesincluding but not limited to;
Rule in increments of tenths and hundredths of an inch
Rule in incrementsof fractions of an inch
Micrometer in increments of thousandths of an inch
Calipers inincrements of thousandths of an inch
Able to convert fractions to decimalequivalent or convert decimals to fractions
Able toread work instructions and apply them to specific work types
Able to readsupplied specification sheets and apply the data to specific worktypes
Ability towork in an efficient manner
Ability to read and write in English ability to speakeffectively with other employees
PhysicalRequirements
Medium work : Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 20pounds of force frequently and / or up to 10 pounds of forceconstantly to move objects.
Stooping : Bending body downward andforward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important ifit occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of thelower extremities and back muscles.
