Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate NICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable facility in Tyler, Texas. Ideal for those dedicated to neonatal care and fostering family-centered healing in a dynamic NICU environment.

Assignment Details

Location : Tyler, TX

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights, 312 (18 : 0006 : 00)

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert neonatal care for premature and critically ill newborns in the NICU

Perform detailed neonatal assessments (vital signs, weight, neurological status, etc.)

Operate and manage advanced NICU equipmentventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps, warming units

Administer medications, treatments, and perform specialized procedures (e.g., IV access, intubation, umbilical line placement)

Monitor, interpret, and respond to changes in neonate status

Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and allied team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

Support and educate families in a compassionate, clear manner regarding their babys condition and care strategies

Uphold strict NICU safety guidelinesaccurate documentation, infection control, and regulatory compliance

Ideal Candidate

Active RN license in Texas or a compact state

2+ years of recent NICU experience

Current BLS and NRP certifications; RNC-NIC or PALS preferred

Skilled in NICU equipment, documentation, and neonatal protocols

Empathetic communicator who can support families and work collaboratively
