Electrical Engineer II

As an Electrical Engineer II, you will play a vital role in providing technical expertise for assigned electrical engineering projects.
Collaborating closely with senior engineers, you'll contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance site safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability.

Focus :
- Provide technical guidance and support for electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to identify opportunities for upgrading site safety, efficiency, and environmental protection through the adoption of new technologies.
- Conduct thorough investigations and develop recommendations for engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and budgetary constraints.
- Manage small to medium site construction projects, overseeing vendor contracts and equipment procurement.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to the assigned area of engineering.
- Contribute to site strategic planning and budgeting efforts, including the development and evaluation of capital funding requests.
- Represent the site on company-sponsored committees and task forces, contributing to decision-making processes and strategic initiatives.
- Perform other duties as required to support engineering operations and organizational goals.
Skill Set :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience (Bachelor's) or 2+ years of relevant experience (Master's).
- Proficiency in Electrical Engineering principles, including knowledge of Mechanical and Process Engineering techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety practices and occupational hazard awareness.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Familiarity with Electronics, PLCs, and Control Systems.
- Experience managing small to medium engineering projects.
- Ability to evaluate and implement operational improvements.
- Preferred : Advanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) Certification, experience in Power Systems Engineering, familiarity with relevant regulations and software tools.
