Summary

At Deel, the Venture Partnerships Manager role goes beyond traditional partner management. Its a unique opportunity to shape how Deel engages with leading global accelerators and venture firms.

This is a quota-carrying position, meaning youll be directly responsible for driving pipeline and revenue growth through strategic partnerships and the founder community.

Deel is making significant investments in this space, and this role is pivotal to scaling it. Experience working with organizations like Y Combinator, a16z Speedrun, or Techstars will position you to help elevate Deels venture and accelerator strategy to the next level.

Responsibilities

Accelerator Program Management : Own the day-to-day relationship with Accelerator and Incubator program teams, in addition to other ecosystem partners, ensuring Deel is positioned as the go-to global hiring and payroll partner.

Venture Collaboration : Partner with select venture firms to extend Deels reach, support their portfolio companies, and create joint engagement opportunities.

Founder Engagement : Act as the first point of contact for portfolio companies, educating founders on Deels solutions, answering questions, and connecting them with the right internal teams.

Quota Ownership : Consistently meet or exceed quota by generating pipeline and revenue from accelerator and venture-backed startups.

Outbound Relationship Building : Be resourceful and entrepreneurial. Hunt for new founder, accelerator, and venture contacts, outbounding where necessary, and build a self-sustaining network of champions who can advocate for Deel.

Events & Touchpoints : Represent Deel at demo days, founder dinners, alumni mixers, and venture / accelerator ecosystem events, deepening relationships and driving visibility.

Co-Marketing Campaigns : Ideate and execute campaigns tailored to founders (office hours, workshops, content, events) in coordination with program and venture teams.

Partnership Growth : Identify opportunities within accelerator and venture ecosystems (alumni, co-investors) to expand Deels reach and influence.

Performance Tracking : Maintain and report on key program metrics including founder engagement, pipeline generation, and revenue conversion.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in partnerships, sales, or program management, ideally with accelerators, venture capital, or founder-facing initiatives.

Proven ability to source, build, and activate new relationships, not just rely on warm introductions.

Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying role with pipeline and revenue accountability .

Excellent written and spoken English, with strong storytelling skills to engage founders and partners.

Skilled at writing outreach copy, campaign sequences, and event invites that drive engagement.

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities shift quickly.

Strong collaborator across marketing, sales, and product teams.

Background in HR tech, fintech, or working with early-stage startups is a plus.

Experience working in a remote, distributed team is a plus.
