Sr. Structural Engineer

Conduct FEA based structural analysis of advanced battery modules and pack designs. Perform Finite Element Structural static analysis, modal analysis, and random vibration analysis.

Mesh complex parts and assemblies using ANSYS and Hypermesh and conduct analysis using Hyperworks Suite programs. Perform linear and non-linear (geometry / material / contact) analysis.

Utilize 3D CAD systems to review designs and simplify CAD models to prepare for meshing and structural analysis. Act as consultant to other engineers and designers, recommending alternative design solutions to improve overall system structural performance.

Work with Solidworks, Hyperworks, Hypermesh, ANSYS and CAD.
