About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to be our first in-office design hire in New York. You’ll partner closely with product managers, engineers, and our Seattle-based designer to shape WireScreen’s product experience. This is a rare opportunity to define the design culture and craft the user experience for a platform at the intersection of technology, policy, and global trade.

What You\'ll Do

Own end-to-end design projects : from research and discovery to flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and design QA.

Translate complex datasets and workflows into intuitive, elegant user experiences.

Collaborate daily with product managers and front-end engineers in New York.

Extend and evolve our design system for consistency and scalability.

Conduct user interviews and usability testing to guide product decisions.

Share best practices and mentor teammates on design thinking and execution.

You Should Apply If You…

Have 5+ years of professional UX / UI design experience (startup or SaaS background is a strong plus).

Have a portfolio that demonstrates product thinking, strong interaction design, and visual craft.

Have fluency in Figma and experience collaborating closely with developers.

Are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment—balancing speed with quality.

Have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly.

Bonus : Experience with data visualization, B2B platforms, or design systems.
