American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with strong neuro case exposure and ARRT / MI credentials for a comprehensive stroke facility assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work within an interventional radiology department at a comprehensive stroke centerPerform procedures on neurological and vascular patientsUse Siemens imaging equipment and Cerner EMRSchedule is Monday to Friday, 8 : 00am to 4 : 30pm, 5 days per weekOn-call coverage and overtime may be requiredTravelers may float to a nearby sister hospital as neededPrepare interventional suites, maintain sterile technique, prep patients, and assist physicians during invasive imaging proceduresOperate and troubleshoot a range of diagnostic and imaging equipmentEngage in radiation safety, QA procedures, and proper documentation practicesResolve image and study exceptions in PACS and complete study indexing in RISAssist with orientation of new team members or students as assignedNo blocked scheduling is allowedHoliday and overtime commitment may be expectedAllow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen prior to startInternal time off requests must be submitted before assignment start and are subject to management approval\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience, including neurological case experienceHigh school diploma or GED required with ongoing continuing medical education hoursActive ARRT certification with advanced registry in CI, VI, or CV, and active MI license required if applicableCurrent BLS certification through AHA requiredDemonstrated proficiency with Siemens imaging systems and Cerner EMR preferredCompletion of online modules and passing scores prior to start is requiredCOVID vaccination is mandatory\n Benefits\n
