We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll operations for a workforce of approximately 500 employees in Cleveland, Ohio. This role requires a meticulous individual who can manage both hourly and salaried payroll, ensure accuracy in benefits and deductions, and handle reconciliation tasks with precision. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and skilled at working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Process weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly union employees and salaried employees, ensuring accurate deductions and compliance with regulations.
- Administer 401(k) funding and disbursements, maintaining compliance and timely submissions.
- Reconcile benefit payments, including medical contributions and employee deductions, ensuring accuracy in bill processing.
- Address garnishments efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain organized payroll records and reports, ensuring timely submission of payroll data.
- Collaborate with management to identify process improvements and implement best practices.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of bills and payments related to payroll and benefits.
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll administration experience.
- Proficiency in full-cycle payroll processes, including handling payroll for 400-500 employees.
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.
- Strong understanding of state payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage complex reconciliations for benefits and deductions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to question existing processes.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
