Direct Support Professional

Locally founded and run nonprofit organization seeking energetic individuals who enjoy working with children with special needs! This position involves providing guidance in behavior choices by teaching social, self-help, academic, and living skills. The children participate in a variety of fun activities as well as practicing vocational, daily living and social skills. Entry level and Team Leader positions available! Those with experience in group home settings, working with individuals with special needs, and day programs are eligible for hire at increased pay rates and advanced positions. Salary starts at $17.00 / hr and increases with experience; Lots of room for advancement! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY and PAID TRAINING TO RECEIVE NATIONAL CERTIFICATION FOR REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT!

You will be an employee and not an independent contractor (1099). Therefore the agency pays social security, unemployment tax, and professional liability insurance. All employees (including part time) are eligible for benefits.
