Responsibilities :
- Evaluate & understand project specs, blueprints and other documentation to prepared detailed cost estimates
- Design & engineer HVAC systems that meet specific requirements of commercial buildings
- Utilize CAD to create and design plans for HVAC systems
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects including materials, labor, equipment and subcontractor needs
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project execution
- Ensure all HVAC designs and installations comply with local, state and federal regulations
- Requirements :
- 5+ years designing & engineering HVAC systems
- Experienced with project size(s) between $50,000 - $5M
- Ideally experience with big box warehouses
- Experienced with CAD
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
