Job title : Fiscal Administrative Support Coordinator - Head Start & Early Head Start
The Fiscal Administrative Support Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accountable and accurate financial operations through the precise processing and tracking of expenditures. This role upholds compliance with established fiscal procedures, maintains complete and transparent records, and provides responsive support to staff. By ensuring accuracy at every stage of the fiscal process, the coordinator contributes directly to the agency’s financial integrity and compliance.
In this role you will :
Process purchase orders and accurately code expenditures in alignment with fiscal policies.
Reconcile credit card transactions and verify documentation for compliance and accountability.
Maintain organized, transparent fiscal records to ensure accountability and accessibility.
Collaborate with the finance team to support timely and accurate financial reporting.
Provide fiscal support for special events, including Policy Council, Pre-Service, and Professional Development activities.
Prepares for and participates in regular, reflective supervision with direct supervisor and proactively seeks guidance and support.
Adheres to the Southwest Human Development Mission, Vision, Core Values and policies.
Provides services that are family-centered and relationship-based.

What it takes :
Associate’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative, finance, or accounting support.
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated numerical accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; experience with accounting or financial management software preferred.
Ability to interpret and apply fiscal policies and procedures consistently.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for interaction with staff, vendors, and external partners.
Demonstrated initiative to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
