THE ROLE
As Group Director Marketing Sciences, you’ll establish data standards, methods, and best practices to enable the Marketing Sciences team to provide test / learn / measurement plans, meaningful analysis, data science deliverables, dashboards / reports, and more.
You can expect to be doing the following
- Analytic strategy; designing & recommending analytic methodologies, establishing KPIs and measurement plans
- Customer analytics; utilizing data to understand customer profiles, segments, and behaviors with the goal of decreasing CAC, improving retention, increasing ARR, etc.
- Customer segmentation / behavioral analysis; utilizing data to understand customer profiles, segments, & behaviors
- Dashboarding / reporting; collecting data, reporting, analyzing outcomes, and offering insights / recommendations for digital / marketing performance evaluation
- Client-facing communication; leading content development on marketing analytics & data science trends, sharing best practices & case studies, participating in new business pitches, etc.
- Team management & collaboration; leading a team of analysts & data scientists, collaborating with internal partners to embed analytics, data science, & data-driven decision-making in the organization
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors’ degree in Math, Finance, Computer Science, or other quantitative field; advanced degree, a plus
- 15+ years in marketing analytics, 3+ in a marketing agency setting
- Background working in digital analytics (site analytics, social, EM, online, etc.)
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis, AB testing, digital measurement (tagging, web services, digital tools, etc.)
- Strong communication skills to develop & present executive content for clients
- Team management experience
