The Cybersecurity SME supports PACAF mission owners and cyber forces with cybersecurity, RMF, and FISMA compliance across PACAF’s Area of Responsibility. This role ensures compliance with DoD, Air Force, and federal directives, providing strategic cybersecurity guidance, system assessments, and audit readiness support.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver RMF / FISMA support, mentor cyber forces, and guide compliance with AF / DOD directives.
• Support and sustain A&A packages and artifacts (eMASS, ITIPS, SNAP, GIAP).
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments (virtual / on-site), CRR-M readiness, and assist in CORA / CCORI inspections.
• Maintain synchronization of cybersecurity data across AF and DISA repositories.
• Guide MOBs & GSUs in vulnerability management, endpoint security, and RMF documentation.
• Provide leadership in preparing and delivering cybersecurity training and policy implementation.

Requirements :

DoD 8140 compliant (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CISA, CySA+, CASP+ CE)

2–3 years in RMF, A&A, FISMA, and DoD / AF cybersecurity environments

Anti-Terrorism, SERE, Cyber Awareness, OPSEC, Derivative Classification, etc.
