Job Title : Manager II, Employment Support

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 8am - 4 : 30pm. Full-Time position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life / Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. In addition, these positions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, floating holiday, jury duty, and bereavement leave. Job Summary
The Manager II, Employment Support provides support to the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Employment Programs both in the Denver and Colorado Springs areas. This includes Supported Employment, Employment Transitions, and AbilityOne Case Management programs, while ensuring the needs of the clients are being met in order to maximize their fullest potential in their living environment and in the community.
Essential Functions
Staff Supervision and Support : The Program Manager will ensure that all staff are present for work and accountable for all job duties. The incumbent will provide staff assistance with problems and conflicts concerning the funding agencies, parents, guardians, or clients and when necessary, the Program Manager will also provide conflict resolution. The incumbent must have the ability to motivate the members of the team and support their development through appropriate and effective supervision and guidance. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring all appropriate paperwork for CARF and funding agencies are turned in on time to meet established due dates. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring staffing coverage is appropriate by managing vacation requests, timecards etc. The incumbent will seek ways to promote and reward individual and program success. The incumbent must work to create an environment of "teamwork and trust" throughout the programs. The Program Manager is responsible for completing written performance evaluations at 90 days and annual reviews providing timely feedback and guidance for performance development. The incumbent will be responsible for supervising staff at both Denver and Colorado Springs locations. They will ensure that they are physically present at both locations, with a set schedule created by their supervisor. They will ensure that coverage is handled while they are between each of the required sites.
Budgeting : The Program Manager is responsible for maintaining a high level of performance while working within budget and quality standards. The incumbent will authorize all expenses that are reimbursed to staff members. In addition, the incumbent must review monthly budget analysis to ensure that each program is within the allotted budget and will help in developing and revising budgets when necessary. When the budget allows, the Program Manager will also determine individual bonuses and merit increases when appropriate. The Program Manager will also be responsible for accessing and tracking utilization of hours to ensure each program is operating at full capacity. For these programs to have a successful financial year, the Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the referral process and ensuring that the programs are open to serving new customers.
Team Support : As a member of the Community Integration Division team, the Program Manager will attend intakes and trainings when necessary and participate in coordinator and staff meetings. When there is a lack of staff to cover client needs, the incumbent must provide coverage to ensure no breaks in clients' services occur. The Program Manager will ensure all due dates for assignments are complete and will oversee staff assignments to ensure the same. The Program Manager must maintain a good working knowledge of state rules and regulations, as well as CARF regulations.
Relationship Management : The Program Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive and professional relationship with all customers, vendors, clients, and co-workers presenting a positive image of the company to the customer, demonstrating courtesy and professionalism in every task and communication. The incumbent will deal effectively and calmly with non-routine situations following accepted guidelines. The incumbent will be responsible for working successfully as a team leader, to communicate effectively with other team members throughout the organization.

Education : A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Vocational Rehabilitation, or applicable field is preferred.
Experience : Two (2) years of direct case management experience required with a minimum of one (1) year of management / supervisory experience is required.
Other : It is preferred that the incumbent have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to interact with various types of internal and external customers. The incumbent must continuously research new avenues to optimize workflow, thus creating more quality time while meeting established deadlines. The incumbent must have the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate reports and plans in a timely manner. The incumbent must demonstrate excellent time management skills, initiative, have the ability to work independently, and respond to special requests. The incumbent must have a working knowledge of Goodwill of Colorado's vision and goals to assist in moving forward to expand rehabilitation and programs geared to assist disabled people in attaining an optimal level of vocational and personal functioning and independence. The incumbent must also conduct self in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance that enhances the firm's reputation. The incumbent must be willing to work in both Denver and Colorado Springs locations, in person, on a weekly basis. Commuting within the State of Colorado is required for this position. The incumbent will be required and must have the ability to drive for company business
Applicants / employees will be required to undergo a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and background check; applicants / employees must disclose all moving traffic violations or vehicle crashes (within the last five (5) years)(Note : not all violations are a disqualification for employment and each case will be reviewed by the insurance carrier); must have valid Colorado State driver license; must also be able to operate company vehicle, and adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws governing vehicle operation.
