Associate Analyst, App Development - Remote (Recent Graduates)
The E.W. Scripps Company is seeking an Associate Analyst of App Development. Under the direction of experienced developers, the analyst will participate in all phases of development lifecycle with project managers and team members to take requirements through analysis, design, development, test, deploy and support.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
Maintain and enhance existing applications.
Provide production support of enterprise systems by investigating and resolving system problems and user questions.
Maintain customer service management ticketing application for customer inquiries, incidents and requests.
Prepare test plans and production change requests as required for deployment of production changes.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED :
BS / BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
Typically requires little to no prior experience in area of responsibility
WHAT YOU'LL BRING :
Knowledge of basic computer science concepts, programming, and Information Systems
Technically inquisitive, self-learner and highly motivated
Outstanding attention to detail and capacity to demonstrate continual learning
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Basic understanding of developing web sites and applications using a variety of technologies
Experience with Microsoft 365
Good communication skills, Both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
