We are looking for skilled Accounting Specialists to join our team on a contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate financial postings, reconciling accounts, and supporting commission-related processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of the accounting department.

Responsibilities :

Process commission statements and ensure accurate financial postings to client accounts.

Retrieve funds from carriers and apply them to relevant client accounts.

Support the sales team by ensuring commission credits are applied accurately and on time.

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks with precision.

Perform account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and consistency in financial records.

Execute billing functions, including invoice preparation and distribution.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting operations and meet deadlines.

Maintain compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data effectively.

Requirements :

Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.

Strong knowledge of billing processes and account reconciliation.

Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.

Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Proficiency in financial systems and tools.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Prior experience in handling commission-related processes is a plus.
