Position Title : Mobile Field Mechanic
Location : Reno, NV
Reporting to : Field Service Supervisor

Travel Required : 75%

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
- Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
- Work on a wide array of equipment including : truck mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks and cranes
- Yearly company funded tool purchase program
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and / or electrical systems
- Manage own schedule and support customers with repairs
- Utilize current technology to support everyday work functions
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, and battery-operated impact gun)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy machinery and / or utility equipment
- Able to pass MVR
- 2+ years of Field Service experience
- Must be located within 60 miles of Reno, NV
- Ability to obtain a DOT qualification
- Willingness to submit for pre-employment background check and drug screening
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- 5+ years in a similar field
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Background in customer service
- Experience with utility-type equipment
- Fluid Power Society certification
- Extensive knowledge of Terex Products : e.g Hi-Ranger, Telelect
- JLG or Genie experience
- Basic computer skills
Work Environment Considerations :
- Must be willing to work varied hours, including evenings as necessary and be on the road three to four nights per week.
- Able to climb ladders and over and under vehicles.
- Willing to work in different weather conditions
- Tolerable to heights
Salary : The compensation range for this position is $37-48hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
