The Application Security team at Coinbase is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to design, implement, and deploy essential security solutions that enhance the security of all Coinbase applications and services. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and security engineers, promoting best security practices throughout the software development lifecycle to tackle security vulnerabilities efficiently and at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and deploy baseline security controls to protect all Coinbase applications and services.
• Develop and implement security guardrails to eliminate various classes of security vulnerabilities at scale.
• Create automation tools to enhance the security review process.
• Support strategic security initiatives aimed at advancing overall security maturity and efficiency through automation.

Pay Transparency Notice : Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).

Pay Range : $186,065 - $218,900 USD
