Surgical Services - Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) -

Unit Specifics : Number of Beds : 4

Patient Ratios : 1 : 1

Unit staffing description- RNs, support from CNC, secretary, Manager, etc. shared with CVOR

Type of equipment : GE Carescape Monitoring, Fuji u / s

Documentation system : Cerner

Procedures performed on unit : large bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, skin assessment, assist with Arterial line, Central line, and Epidural placement. Transport patient to OR; assist with induction / intubation, positioning, and skin prep

Hospital Specifics-

Certifications : BLS

Scheduling requirements : M-F 0500-1330

On Call Requirements : Stay late 1-2 / week

Floating policy : Within scope of practice and experience

Patient Experience requirements : Critical Care experience a must, Pre Op experience a plus

Requested Skill Set : BCMA, excellent documentation, ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area, excellent communication skills with interdepartmental team

Must have : Good critical thinking skills

Dress Code : (Required uniform) Provided.
