Multiple Pediatric Primary Care Clinics in Oregon are looking for Medical Assistants to join their team.
Overview of Responsibilities :
- Escort patients to examination rooms, obtain vital signs, review and reconcile pertinent patient information and history in preparation for appointment with the provider.
- Administer diagnostic tests and physician-approved procedures, such as immunizations and others as assigned
- Successfully collaborate and work in support of the team to ensure efficient and quality patient care
- Update the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) with relevant information.
- Successfully work in a fast-paced, changing environment. with effective time management and ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Schedule patient appointments, answer the telephone, and follow-up with patients / families in a professional and courteous manner
- Participate in site-specific and clinic-wide initiatives on an ongoing basis
- Attend and actively participate in huddles and team meetings
- Always maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information
- Sustain excellent patient interactions using clear communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain acceptable standards of office conduct
- Punctual, regular, timely, and dependable attendance
Requirements :
- Immunization Experience
- Certified MAs
- AAMA, NCCT, RMA, NHA, etc.
- Accepting EMT's
- 1+ Years Experience (preferred)
- EMR Experience (Preferred EPIC)
- BLS Certification

Schedule / Shift :
- Portland, Beaverton, Tigard
- 8 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM (4 10's) - Variable Days of the Week
- Full Time 40 Hours
- Happy Valley
- 8 AM - 5 : 30 PM (4 9's) - Variable Days of the Week
- 40-36 Hours
- Rotating Weekends AFTER CONVERSION - Typically 1-2 weekend days per month
