Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist located in Hayward, CA. This role is centered on providing psychological services within a school environment, supporting student development, and contributing to a collaborative educational team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs and inform intervention strategies.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Counsel students, helping them address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to design supportive learning environments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expert insights on student progress.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Experience :
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.Valid California School Psychologist credential.Experience with psychological assessments and developing IEPs.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel.Knowledge of educational laws and regulations related to special education.Commitment to student well-being and inclusive educational practices.Location :
