Customer Quality Engineer is a customer-centric role focused on building and maintaining trust with clients via hands-on field engagement. With up to 70% travel, spanning the U.S., and sometimes even as far as Europe or China, this person bridges gaps where our current technical staff can't reach, ensuring customer satisfaction and system uptime while embodying our commitment to innovation and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the frontline representative for customers, resolving issues, maintaining relationships, and preventing downtime.
- Travel extensively to onsite locations; initially train in Rogers, AR (~1–1.5 weeks / month) before transitioning to more autonomous regional support.
- Operate independently with high accountability, self-motivation, and minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with our internal technical support team for escalations or complex troubleshooting.
- Support the onboarding and training process for field service operations.
- Prioritize retaining existing clients through dependable support rather than opening new accounts.
Required Attributes & Experience
Strong interpersonal skills, integrity, and a customer-first mindset.Mechanical and electrical aptitude; comfortable using hand tools.Experience or familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, ladder logic, or automation / maintenance work such as HVAC, millwright, or field service roles work well.Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience sufficient; formal degree not mandatory.Proven ability to maintain customer relationships and manage field challenges independentlyMust have or be willing to obtain a passport for international travel.Compensation & Location
