In this role, you’ll lead an empowered product development team to launch a new renters insurance product offered by AppFolio Insurance Services. We’re looking for a Product Manager with early product experience (1–3 years) who’s ready to take on greater ownership. You’ve already had exposure to the product development process and are eager to deepen your craft - from shaping roadmaps to partnering with design and engineering to shipping features that deliver meaningful customer value. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced PMs while owning a focused area yourself, building the skills and confidence to grow into full end-to-end product ownership.

What You’ll Do

Contribute to strategy : Support the development of a compelling product vision by gathering insights and analyzing data.

Shape the roadmap : Help define priorities and trade-offs, balancing impact with speed.

Ship features : Partner with engineering and design to deliver high-quality features and learn how to run product development cycles from start to finish.

Measure success : Track and analyze metrics, identifying what’s working and what needs to improve.

Be the customer’s voice : Translate feedback and research into product opportunities.

Collaborate across teams : Work with go-to-market and support functions to ensure successful product launches.

What We’re Looking For

1–3 years of experience in product management or a highly related role.

Curiosity and product sense : You’re eager to learn what makes products useful, delightful, and differentiated.

Analytical mindset : Comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data and forming hypotheses.

Strong communication : You can distill complexity into clarity.

High agency : You’re proactive, resourceful, and excited to learn by doing in a collaborative environment.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is $114,400 - $143,000 base pay. The actual compensation for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, and internal equity.

Please note that compensation is just one aspect of a comprehensive Total Rewards package. The compensation range listed here does not include additional benefits or any discretionary bonuses you may be eligible for based on your role and / or employment type.
