Seeking a dedicated and experienced New Accounts / Customer Service Representative. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of banking teller experience, along with hands-on experience opening consumer and basic business accounts. MUST HAVE PRIOR BANKING / TELLER EXPERIENCE. Strong customer relations skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues in a positive, cooperative manner are essential. This role requires a working knowledge of basic banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and Information Security, as well as excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential information. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking software is also necessary.
In this role, you will conduct customer interviews to recommend suitable banking products and services, actively cross-sell to new and existing clients, and generate new business to help meet branch and bank profitability goals. You will collaborate with other business units to identify sales opportunities and ensure an outstanding customer experience. Responsibilities include opening and supporting a variety of accounts such as checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and Trust & Estate accounts, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of bank products and regulatory requirements, processing teller transactions as needed, and managing client inquiries efficiently and courteously. You will also be responsible for accurately completing and uploading all required documentation, adhering to banking regulations, and preparing various reports related to transactions and account activities.
