Detailed Job Description

Netsync Network Solutions is looking for qualified individuals to fill the role of Networking Consultant, specializing in Cisco Network Infrastructure. As a Networking Consultant, responsibilities will vary by client engagement but will focus on Cisco solutions architecture, system design, and implementation.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior technical resource and project lead for complex networking, SDN, and SD-WAN environments across various customer verticals.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to identify business and technical requirements for network services.
  • Design complex networking solutions to address diverse business problems for enterprise customers.
  • Install, configure, support, monitor, test, optimize, and troubleshoot deployment, integration, and implementation of hardware and software in complex network environments.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and detailed design / operational documentation to clients.
  • Maintain and update project documentation.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
  • Provide Tier 3 support.

  • Skills And Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in network environments, including hardware / software engineering, security practices, and LAN / WAN design and implementation.
  • Experience in the healthcare vertical.
  • Proficiency with Cisco Routers, Catalyst Switches, Catalyst Center, Layer 2 Switching, Layer 3 Routing, WLC and Access Points, Meraki Switching and Wireless.
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN and SD-Access (a plus).
  • Strong client management, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous VAR experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Active CCNP certification; CCIE preferred.
  • Multi-vendor certifications preferred.
  • Reside in the greater New Orleans or Baton Rouge areas; this is an on-site position.
