About This Position :

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer in our Water Infrastructure Group. This individual would be responsible for start-up, debug, calibration, commissioning, standby and servicing of control systems at end-user's sites.

Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Review plans, specifications and proposals to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
• Works with engineering staff to coordinate proper field activities necessary to successfully deliver and complete assigned tasks.
• Instrument calibration / configuration, hardware checkout, software debug and customer training.
• Document and maintain accurate records of job-related activities, releases, correspondence and provide accurate daily reports.
• Implement design and programming modifications as required.
• Advise Project Management of customer change requests or proposal discrepancies.
• Hold and / or participate in Job-site Safety Meetings.
• Assist engineering with returns of defective equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

An associate's degree in engineering with exposure to electrical controls engineering or pursuing a degree in Engineering with two years' experience or four year's related experience.
