Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Data Center)

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the physical deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of on-premises infrastructure across multiple data centers. This role is hands-on and requires strong experience working with server, storage, and networking hardware. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and can coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure infrastructure is deployed to operational and security standards.

Key responsibilities include :

• Rack, cable, and validate physical servers, storage, and switches across both sites.
• Implement and maintain KVM and remote-management solutions for critical systems.
• Perform ESX, MAAS, and firmware upgrades in line with Apple standards.
• Integrate infrastructure monitoring and reporting with IS&T systems.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configuration, topology, and inventory.
• Conduct quarterly audits, capacity assessments, and preventive maintenance reviews.

• 10-12 years of experience
• Dell PowerEdge, Isilon, Pure Storage, Cisco switching
• Working knowledge of data center safety, labeling, and cable management best practices

This is a Contract position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00 / hr.
