This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where you will be an essential part of a supportive team. As the Lead X-Ray Tech, you will play a key role in managing the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring the highest level of patient care, and providing guidance to other staff members.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Scheduling : Coordinate and manage the daily X-ray technician schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Protocols : Develop and ensure adherence to established imaging protocols and procedures for high-quality results.
  • Clinical Duties : Perform X-ray procedures, interact with patients, and ensure accurate imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
  • Documentation : Update and maintain necessary documentation, including patient records and compliance reports.
  • Staff Onboarding : Assist in onboarding and training new staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Coverage : Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including filling in for staff absences as needed.
  • Quality Control : Maintain the equipment and facility to ensure all tools are functioning optimally and comply with healthcare standards.

Education & Certification Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
  • Valid X-Ray Technician License in the state of Arizona.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
