Youth Pastor Position Summary
We are looking for an individual who is committed to the care, outreach, and spiritual formation for middle and high school students.
Our current youth ministry includes students. And we are looking for someone who connects well with students, collaborates well with other staff and adults, can lead and train volunteers, and who fits with the ethos of our church community.
The Youth Pastor will be responsible for :
- Leading weekly mid-week ministries with middle and high school students
- Leading a team of lay volunteers
- Planning and organizing all youth ministry gatherings and events
- Connecting with students as a mentor (following policies regarding student safety)
- Communicating with volunteers and parents needed
The Youth Pastor's experience and qualifications should include :
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience working with students in a ministry setting
- Previous experience with multiethnic ministry
