We are currently seeking a Civil / Structural Analysis Specialist for our client's Florida Practice. This position allows for full remote work from your home office.
This individual can be based in the Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando, or Tampa areas.
About the Position
As a Civil / Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting and overseeing investigations related to buildings, structures, and structural components.
This includes tasks such as structural analysis, damage assessment, ensuring compliance with building codes, conducting lab and field testing of construction materials, and reviewing structural designs.
In addition, you will collaborate with clients and other consultants, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prepare comprehensive written reports summarizing your findings.
Technical Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural engineering
- Professional Engineer license (P.E.)
- Advanced technical education degrees (preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in forensics (required)
- Proficiency in computer software such as MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- Experience in industrial / manufacturing / construction / design fields
