Job Summary / Basic Function
The University Studies Department at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty position (#107520) at the rank of lecturer.
This is a one-year temporary appointment with a possible annual renewal for up to three years. The start date for the appointment is August 1, 2024.
The successful candidate will teach lower-level college mathematics courses and must be able to work with students of varying abilities.
In addition, the successful candidate is expected to be available to teach night or dual enrollment classes as needed.
Required Education
A master's degree in mathematics or statistics OR a master’s degree in any field with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics or statistics from an accredited college or university is required by the appointment date.
Other Desirables
Applicants with two (2) years of full-time teaching experience will receive special consideration.
