Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor works closely with facility management to ensure production goals are met across assigned departments .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead personnel in receiving and processing materials.
• Schedule and coordinate equipment / machinery repairs.
• Review production and quality reports to plan or adjust activities.
• Ensure staff wear PPE and follow safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory of tools, supplies, and production materials.
• Notify EH&S of safety concerns, PPE defects, or equipment issues.
• Train and supervise team members in assigned job duties.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and efficiency.
• Achieve labor, overhead, and material cost targets.
• Coordinate work schedules based on demand.
• Monitor departmental operating costs and report findings.
• Review and approve team timecards.
• Conduct ongoing training and refresher sessions on policies / procedures.
• Assist with end-of-month inventory counts.
• Support security and loss prevention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance checklists are completed and reported.
• Promote housekeeping, safety, and cleanliness.
• Recommend efficiency and process improvements.
