Patient Support Technician - Pedi Pacu - Part Time - Days

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This is a dual position that includes the job responsibilities of a Patient Care Technician, a Cardiac Monitor Technician, a Visual Monitor, a Mental Health / Patient Care Technician, or a Unit Secretary.

Minimum qualifications include :

• Required Certification : BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum requirements include one of the following : 6 months acute care experience; or 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility experience; or successfully completes a BayCare sponsored Nursing Assistant or PCT Internship; or completion of Nursing Fundamentals (RN); or Nursing Foundation (LPN) Programs or completed a PCT or Nursing Assistant program which includes at least 40 hours of external clinicals.

Preferred experience : 1 year - Hospital in related field. Required - High School or Equivalent.

Shift Hours : Hours for the position are 21 hours per week / 42 ppd. Must be available to work any day, Monday-Friday. School schedules cannot be accommodated. 7 : 30am-2pm x 2 per week (Monday Friday) varies 7 : 30am-5pm x 1 per week (Monday Friday) varies
