Senior Warehouse Manager
The Senior Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall operation, execution, and planning of the facility. Emphasis is placed on managing the facility budget, succession planning, as well as holiday preparedness, and flawless execution of holiday shipping.
Maintaining safe facility operations, as well as adhering to Federal, State, and company policies. The reporting of issues to Senior Manager of Direct Ship Operations.
Manager will meet or exceed company set metrics (CSIs) in Wrong Delivery, Non-delivery, and Quality. Maintaining accurate inventory levels.
As well as cross-train members to perform other activities not assigned to them on a primary basis. Other duties include receipt, inspection, order processing, and fulfillment of direct-to-consumer products.
The manager will lead a continuous process improvement plan.
Responsibilities Include :
- Overall operation, execution, and planning of the e-commerce fulfillment facility
- Exceptional leadership
- Manage and meet $1 million+ budget
- Succession planning
- Peak planning and execution
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment
- Implement controls to meet and exceed company-set quality metrics
- Inventory management
- Continuous improvement
- Overtime and weekend work as needed
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain / Logistics, or related field or 5+ years relevant leadership experience in an e-commerce fulfillment and / or warehouse setting
- Experienced in managing and maintaining a facility budget (P&L)
- Experience and understanding of WMS systems such as Oracle, SAP, etc .
- Natural ability to lead by example
- Experience managing a team of 20+ employees
- Strong ability to assess and hire talent
- Experience building and maintaining a positive and productive culture
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Experienced in process improvement and lean management
- Ability to work in cold temperatures for an extended amount of time
- Ability to work on your feet for an extended amount of time
- Forklift and electric pallet jack certified or ability to obtain one
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills are a must
- 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs
