Job Description :

Trade Compliance Specialist

Logistics and documentation involved in the international import and export shipments of the US export-controlled goods (subject to EAR and ITAR licensing) at the manufacturing site by implementing appropriate work procedures and responsible for the movement of merchandise in / out of the country in compliance with all federal, custom and local regulations.

Qualifications, education and experience :

• Education requirement (must have) : Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding and experience of U.S. import / export regulations and operations. Prior work experience classifying items such as HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN from top level assemblies through component levels.
• Prior experience of submitting Electronic Export Information (EEI) to ACE portal.
• Well organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently to drive on-time delivery goals.
• Knowledge of other government agencies (e.g., FDA, EAR, ITAR, and OFAC).
• Must be eligible to obtain DOD security clearance.
