Shape the Future of Audio with Shure - Drive Market Development in the Southeast U.S.

At Shure, we're redefining how the world communicates-one connection at a time. As a global leader in audio innovation, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Development Specialist II to champion our conferencing and collaboration solutions in the Southeast U.S. region.

In this strategic role, you'll take a growth-oriented approach to expanding Shure's footprint by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating meaningful relationships with End-Users and Influencers. You'll play a key role in aligning regional initiatives with Shure's broader sales strategy, driving impactful engagement and delivering valuable market insights.

If you're passionate about technology, thrive in fast-paced markets, and are ready to make a lasting impact with a company at the forefront of audio excellence-we want to hear from you.

This is a remote position based in the Southeast U.S., preferably in the Atlanta Metro area.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with IT and AV / IT decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry associations to position Shure as a trusted conferencing and collaboration provider.

  • Strategize and execute initiatives to expand market presence by positioning Shure's conferencing solutions as a core value proposition.
  • Support clients with product specification, demonstrations, commissioning, and training.
  • Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, focusing on unified communications and hybrid collaboration in Enterprise and Higher Education.
  • Provide field insights to Product Planning and Marketing teams to guide product development.
  • Track and report on competitor activity, pricing, and positioning.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and presentations to increase product awareness among End Users and Influencers.
  • Share market intelligence and tools to support sales efforts and customer engagement.
  • Assist with planning and logistics for conferences, webinars, and special events.
  • Manage demo equipment and loaner inventory to support trials and training.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support regional and organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Must reside in the Atlanta Metro area.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of audio and conferencing technologies.
  • Familiarity with collaboration, conferencing, and networking technologies, including their applications in professional environments.
  • Working knowledge of audio DSP systems and related tools.
  • Hands-on experience in technical support, system setup, or AV system design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20 weeks per year, including occasional weekends.
  • Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Shure will not sponsor applicants for this position for work visas.
