Join our team as a Maintenance Technician!

The Maintenance Technician-I maintains, tests, and repairs production support equipment. Works with higher ranking technicians on required electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic related repairs. They will apply knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles as needed in determining equipment malfunctions and apply skills in restoring equipment to operation. Provide skilled mechanical and electrical support to all areas of CNC and Sheet Metal Manufacturing.

We are looking for an Entry level maintenance technician to join our team to learn and grow their skills set.

Shift : Weekend Night shift

What you will do

• Perform fluid concentration adjustments, filter installation, fluid, and oil maintenance on required equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance & repair on a variety of support equipment and machines.
• Perform technical calibrations utilizing basic measuring equipment, as necessary.
• Install, start-up and shut down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and utilize LOTO procedures where required along with following OSHA requirements.
• Seek assistance from and communicate with higher ranking technicians, as necessary.
• Communicate & work with cross functional departments, as necessary.
• Maintains work orders in CMMS program.
• Continually seek to improve processes.
• Comply with all company quality and safety standards including PPE requirements.
• Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands :

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse, telephone and printer; reach with hands, and arms, talk, see and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel and must be able to lift and / or move up to 70 pounds.

Work Environment :

Indoors (A / C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in a manufacturing area exposed to machinery and noise; with eye protection and safety shoes required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
