Director, Master Data Management (MDM)
The Director, Master Data Management (MDM) will lead a centralized team responsible for governance, stewardship, and continuous improvement of master data for the end-to-end (E2E) our company's Research & Development Division supply chain, with a primary focus on SAP master data. This leader will establish and operationalize standardized processes, own data management strategy and execution readiness, and ensure reliable, validated data at point of entry to enable automation, analytics, and efficient pack, label, and distribution operations across GCS. The role partners cross-functionally with our company's Research & Development Division and our Manufacturing Division to drive data standardization and quality across the organization.
Primary Activities include, but are not limited to :
Strategic Planning :
- Establish a centralized operating model for MDM with clear roles & responsibilities, governance forums, KPIs, and service delivery expectations.
- Lead development and adoption of data policies, standards, and lifecycle management for SAP master data.
Coaching & Development :
Build, lead, and develop a centralized MDM team (data stewards, process leads, data quality analysts) within OpEx responsible for master data governance, changes, and accuracy.Set objectives, monitor performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.Networking & Partnerships :
Serve as central point-of-contact (POC) interfacing across our company Research & Development Division, our Manufacturing Division, Quality, and IT to ensure standardized requirements and harmonized strategy.Drive alignment among global stakeholders on master data definitions, templates, and system usage to enable consistent cross-functional execution and data / system integration.Innovation :
Promote automation and AI readiness by ensuring the integrity of master data across the GCS data infrastructure.Identify and prioritize opportunities for tooling, SAP improvements, and data management automation to increase speed and reduce manual effort.Execution Excellence :
Ensure master data practices comply with internal policies, external regulatory requirements, and audit expectations.Education & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Information Systems, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in master data management, SAP material master governance, or supply chain data leadership; at least 5 years in a leadership role.Deep knowledge of SAP material master data structures, processes (MM / SD / PP / WM), and change control within a global manufacturing environment.Skills include, but not limited to :
Demonstrated experience establishing centralized MDM operating models, data governance frameworks, and stewardship programs at scale.Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with experience interfacing with Manufacturing, Quality, IT / SAP, and Commercial teams.Proven track-record implementing data quality frameworks and metrics and driving measurable improvements in data accuracy and process adherence.Experience with data validation tools, master data management platforms, SAP data migration / cleaning projects, or automation initiatives.The salary range for this role is $169,700.00 - $267,200.00

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
