What you’ll tackle
Operate, tune, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems to keep product moving.Monitor performance trends; spot when systems drift out of spec and act quickly.Execute component replacements with strict LOTO discipline and full PSM program adherence.Perform refrigerant pump‑downs / evacuations to safely service valves and related parts.Complete routine warehouse equipment maintenance consistent with OSHA requirements.Use voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges to evaluate performance; test and calibrate HVAC assets.Verify workmanship against blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.Test safety equipment to ensure OSHA and operational compliance.Capture accurate PM records within Oracle CMMS; maintain a clean, organized, 6S work environment.Support flexible scheduling needs, including on‑call coverage.Contribute to additional assignments as required.Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.2+ years of industrial refrigeration maintenance experience; OR 3+ years of industrial maintenance plus certifications such as RETA, Garden City, or EPA Universal.Successful completion of assigned industrial refrigeration and maintenance coursework.Controls experience with ALTA / Allen Bradley systems, including troubleshooting and repair.HAZMAT training with active certification (or ability to obtain and maintain).Oracle CMMS experience.Preferred
Background in cold storage operations.Hands‑on ammonia refrigeration maintenance.CARO / CIRO credentials.Advanced Oracle CMMS proficiency.Ability to diagnose to the component level on all refrigeration equipment.Desire to mentor and develop junior technicians.Your toolbelt of strengths
